Reading: We will be finishing: Waiting for the Biblioburro by Monica Brown and John Parra Skills: Ask and answer question about the text using key details, retell the story including key details, and ask and answer questions about key vocabulary. Grammar: Root words with the inflected ending -ing. Writing: Complete sentences including a capital letter and a period, and responding to the text through writing. Edit a narrative retell of the story. Friday we will begin My Librarian is a Camel, by Margriet Ruurs. Phonics: Letters C, letter K, spelling with c and k, and the letter B. Spelling Words: a, an, at, tap, lot, nap, tan, zip, lap, pit Sight Words (up to this point): the, said, of, do, to, into, who, you, your, color, and what. Math: Module 1 lessons 21-24 (Topic F) Lesson 21: Visualize and solve doubles and doubles plus 1 with 5-group cards. Lesson 22: Look for an make use of repeated reasoning on the addition chart by solving and analyzing problems with common addends. Lesson 23: Look for and make use of structure on the addition carhy by looking for and coloring problems with the same total (looking for and identify the pattern).
