Reading: We will be reading Seven Blind Mice
Skills: Generate and ask text dependent questions, sequence the components of an informational paragraph, analyze characters' actions, identify the lesson in the story, speak in complete sentences while responding to what others say in a socratic seminar. Spelling: We will be working with "glued" sound words for the next three weeks. These "glued" sounds are: ang, ing, ong, ung, ank, ink, onk, and unk. Sample spelling words for week 1: bang, ring, sang, long, song, lung, king, wing, hang, sing, fang, hung, thing, rang, sung, and gong. Spelling test is Friday, December 9th.
