This week is a B Week! Reading: We will be finishing: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Skills: Retell Green Eggs and Ham including details about characters, settings, and major events, Use sentence level context as a clue to the meaning of the words portrait, landscape, and still life, Identify who is telling the story at key points, Sequence events in a written narrative summary, Determine the Central Message of the story, Identify temporal words and use in writing, and Respond to what others say in a Socratic Seminar about how books can change your lives. Grammar: Imperative Sentences Writing: Complete sentences including a capital letter and a period, capitalize proper nouns, and responding to the text through writing, Use time order words when writing (First, Next, Then, Last). Students will draw and write to retell the story Green Eggs and Ham. Students will begin an End of Module Task on Friday. Lesson 36- Relate subtraction from 10 to corresponding decompositions.
