This week is a B Week!
Reading: We will continue Module 2 of Wit & Wisdom and complete lessons 11-15. We will continue reading Me... Jane and begin The Shyest Fish in the Sea. Skills: Identify key details and main topic of sections from text, use illustrations and details to describe characters, describe the essential meaning of the text with text evidence. Grammar: Use determiners such as articles and demonstratives Writing: Students will write an informative paragraph including topic sentence, key details, and a conclusion sentence. Complete sentences including a capital letter and a period, capitalize proper nouns, and responding to the text through writing, Phonics: Spelling Words: sat, dog, glad, cost, milk, sock, street, thank, needed, resting, color, friend Sight Words (up to this point): the, said, of, do, to, into, who, you, your, color, what, are, from, friend, their, there, come, some, does, goes, been, put, want, was, where, two, done, one, sure, don't, won't , should, would, could, brought, fought, bought, thought Math: Module 2 Lessons 11 (Topic A) - 14 (Topic B) Lesson 11: Share and critique peer solution strategies for put together with total unknown word problems. Mid-Module assessment Lesson 12-13: Solve word problems with subtraction of 9 from 10. Lesson 14-15: Model subtraction of 9 from teen numbers.
