Skills: identify similarities and differences between research evidence collected from tow texts about hurricane winds, generate and answer questions about the text, and identify the reasons given to support author's point Grammar: match nouns and verbs based on proper number so that the sentence makes sense, singular and plural nouns, and identify adjectives in a sentence Writing: Write informative paragraph about hurricane winds using information from multiple sources and write a story about an illustration from Feelings Spelling: Segmenting and blending 5 sounds, suffix s, ed, ing and vowel teams oa, oe, ow, ou, oo, ue, ew, au, aw Sample spelling words: brings, skunks, stings, trunks, pranks, blinks, drinks, grunts, stumps, drifts, blends, crafts, slumps, blimps, plants, scrap, strap, split, splash, scrub Trick words: how, now, down Math: Module 4 lessons 8-11 Lesson 8:Compare quantities and numerals from left to right Lesson 9-10: Use the symbols for greater than, less than, and equal to compare quantities and numerals.
