Reading: We will complete Module 2 of Wit & Wisdom and complete lessons 33-36 We will be reviewing knowledge gained from all Module 2 texts. Skills: Write informative paragraphs, add details to illustrations in order to clarify ideas in an informative paragraph, edit writing, share knowledge in a Socratic Seminar Grammar: Review vocabulary learned from Module 2, edit sentences in writing Writing: Students will write an informative paragraph including topic statement, key details, and a conclusion sentence, edit their writing Complete sentences including a capital letter and a period, capitalize proper nouns, and responding to the text through writing, Phonics: Spelling Words: me, run, thing, take, she's, looking, little, title, will, shell, one*, two* Sight Words (up to this point): the, said, of, do, to, into, who, you, your, color, what, are, from, friend, their, there, come, some, does, goes, been, put, want, was, where, two, done, one, sure, don't, won't , should, would, could, brought, fought, bought, thought, they,people,eye, move,love,any,many,mother,other,another,brother,something,answer,were,early,earth,heard, word,work,world,once Math: Module 3 Lessons 7-13 (Topic C-D) Lesson 7- Measure the same objects from Topic B with different non-standard units simultaneously to see the need to measure with a consistent unit Lesson 8- Understand the need to use the same units when comparing measurement with others Lesson 9- Answer compare with difference unknown problems about lengths of two different objects measured in centimeters Lesson 10- Collect, sort, and organize data; then ask and answer questions about the number of data points Lesson 11- Collect, sort, and organize data; then ask and answer questions about the number of data points Lesson 12- Ask and answer varied word problem types about a data set with three categories Lesson 13- Ask and answer varied word problem types about a data set with three categories Students should be working hard to mentally master their math facts up to 20.
